Calgary Star: In the ever-competitive world of the film industry, Faith's story stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and adaptability. Her journey has been marked by both challenges and triumphs, offering valuable insights for aspiring actors.

One of the primary obstacles Faith faced early on was the issue of representation. As a visible minority, she found that certain roles were not necessarily suited for her demographic. This typecast her into specific roles, such as a security guard or a police officer. However, Faith refused to be deterred by that. She embraced these opportunities, recognizing that "there's many typecast actors in Hollywood." Her willingness to take on these roles, even if they didn't fully align with her aspirations, allowed her to build a solid foundation and gain valuable on-set experience.

Faith's journey also highlights the importance of networking and maintaining strong relationships with agents. She has worked with multiple agencies over the years, each offering a unique valuable experience. "I also see the need to not only rely on an agent, but it's up to me to help seek out opportunities as well," she reflected. Early on, Faith took the initiative to submit herself for roles, which led to her booking her first commercial. This self-driven approach demonstrated her determination and willingness to take charge of her career. However, she later realized the value of having a dedicated agent, as they could provide access to a wider range of opportunities.
Faith firmly believes in the transformative power of acting classes, emphasizing their importance in building a strong foundation and expanding one's network. "I would say one of the most important things an actor can do is take classes because that forces you into a network so you do have people that you're talking to or you hear of different projects that need actors," she shared. Specific instructors, such as Joe from Company Rogue and Chad Rook from Apex, have played a significant role in Faith's growth as an actor. These classes not only honed her craft but also connected her with industry professionals and informed her about upcoming projects.

Faith's journey has also been marked by her willingness to embrace diverse opportunities, even if they didn't align with her initial aspirations. Her experience on the set of “Miracle in East Texas” is a prime example, where she was initially auditioned for one role but ended up booking three speaking roles, all merged into a single character. Furthermore, Faith's unique skill set, including her experience as a driver and a bobsledder, led to her being hired as a stunt double for the project “Guilty Part”.

Additionally, Faith has been involved in several prominent projects at the top of the industry, including “Wind River: The Next Chapter”, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife”, “Lady in the Lake”, “Joe Pickett” “Stage 5”, “The Guilty Party”, “Check Engine”, and “Pari Leto. Her participation in these high-profile productions demonstrates her growth and recognition within the industry, showcasing her versatility and dedication.
Faith's involvement with ACTRA (Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists) has also played a significant role in her career. As a member and even a secretary on the ACTRA council, she has gained valuable insights into the industry's issues and upcoming projects. "I know of all the issues happening in Alberta. I know about all the projects. And I like to be in the know," she shared, emphasizing the importance of staying connected and informed within the industry.

Faith's journey in the film industry is a testament to the power of resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace diverse opportunities. Her experiences, from navigating the challenges of representation to the transformative impact of acting classes and her involvement with ACTRA, offer valuable lessons for aspiring actors.
As Faith continues to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the film industry, her story serves as an inspiration, reminding us that with dedication, passion, and a commitment to growth, success can be achieved, even in the face of adversity. Her willingness to share her struggles and triumphs provides a roadmap for others who aspire to carve their own path in the competitive world of film and television.
