SERIES: FAMILY LAW

Set in Vancouver, Canada, Family Law follows lawyer and recovering alcoholic Abigail ‘Abby’ Bianchi (Jewel Staite) struggling to put her career and family back together after hitting rock bottom. As a condition of her probation, Abby is forced to work at her estranged father’s (Victor Garber) firm, Svensson and Associates, and practice in family law for the first time while forging new relationships with the half-brother (Zach Smadu) and half-sister (Genelle Williams) whom she’s never met. The result is a dysfunctional family law firm operating to help other families with their own dysfunctions. Eden will be playing the role of Sofia Bianchi (Abby's daughter) in the upcoming highly anticipated new series.

This Fall Eden can be seen as a series regular in the Global TV series “Family Law” opposite Jewel Staite. The one-hour drama premieres September 17th and follows a group of flawed family members who reluctantly work together at their father’s law firm in downtown Vancouver.

Performing since she was four, Eden Summer Gilmore is an enigmatic talent that draws audiences in with her self-possessed confidence and charm. She was born and raised in Burnaby, BC, and got her start as an actor at the young age of 4 when she was cast in a “Gerber” commercial.

While going on to book numerous commercials, it wasn’t until a few years later when she was cast in her first TV role as Li’l Betty Cooper on CW’s “Riverdale” that the acting bug truly bit. Diving headfirst into her craft and her training with dedication and passion, it didn’t take long for the industry to take notice. She soon landed a significant role on CW’s “Supernatural”, as well as her first leading role in the film IT’S CHRISTMAS EVE opposite Grammy Award Winner LeAnn Rimes for which she has been recognized with 4 nominations and 2 wins to date. Eden’s joy of her craft does not stop there.

Her love for the creative process has her working closely within the indie film community, collaborating with some prominent local directors and crews on multiple independent shorts. Eden looks forward to writing and directing her own in the near future. Recently Eden had a guest star role on the wildly popular ABC series “The Good Doctor”, a recurring role on Netflix’s “The Healing Powers of Dude” and she reprized her role as Young Nancy in the Season 2 finale of the CW’s “Nancy Drew”.

When not on set or in training, Eden is an avid soccer player who enjoys singing, playing the guitar, going to concerts with friends, travelling with her family, and spending time with her rescue pup Finn. Eden always says put mental health, fun, and gratitude first.

I have a not so secret obsession with the movie “Pretty in Pink”.

My dream is to work with Emma Watson. She is such a fantastic actor, activist,

and person.

First movie I ever saw in the theatre was UP (I was 3 1/2), ever since then I

have always wanted my house to float with balloons.

I love music, my favourite band is Queen and I even got to see them in concert.

I believe kindness is power, a simple smile can brighten a day.

I eat dessert after every meal. No exceptions.

I am always reading a book, fantasy is my favourite.

I LOVE crystals I am always carrying one with me.

I love anything from the 80s or 90s.

I can say “Superfcalifragilisticexpialidocious” backward.
