Dani Kind is a prominent Canadian actress known for her versatile roles across film and television. She began her acting career with early appearances in projects such as “Posers” in 2002, where she played Sadie, and an uncredited role as a TV Administrator in “Outrage” in 2003. Her early work also includes her role as Mollie Wynn in the 2006 film “Maid of Honor” and Stacy in the TV film “Black Widower”. In 2007, Dani expanded her portfolio with roles in “Like Mother, Like Daughter” as Emily Wilkins and starred as Christie Colton in the TV film “Christie’s Revenge”. She also appeared as a Goth Girl in “Decoys 2: Alien Seduction” (uncredited) and played a waitress in “Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer”. Her performances in TV films during this period included “Dead at 17” as Danni Harris, “Picture This” as a High School Girl, and “Carny” as Leopard Woman.

Dani continued to diversify her acting repertoire with roles in various short films and TV movies. In 2009, she starred as Amber in “Summer’s Moon” and played Becky in “Sleep Buddy”. Her 2011 appearance as Lara in “The Righteous Tithe” marked her ongoing presence in genre films. She also took on roles in “Daniel” (2012), “Finding Christmas” (2013), and “October Gale” (2014). Her work extended into smaller projects such as “Dennis” (2015), where she played Jenny, and “On the Twelfth Day of Christmas” (2015) as Grace.

In 2016, she portrayed Detective Reese in the TV film “The Night Before Halloween”, and in subsequent years, she appeared in short films including “Yellow Lines” (2017), “Dotage” (2019), and “Bear Trap” (2019).
Most recently, Dani starred as Jill in “I Used to Be Funny” (2023) and directed the short film “Capsule” in 2024, which was successfully funded via an Indiegogo campaign, surpassing its goal at 109%. Her television career includes guest appearances on numerous series such as “MVP: The Secret Lives of Hockey Wives”, “Pure Pwnage”, “Murdoch Mysteries”, “Cracked”, “Saving Hope”, “The Divide”, and “Remedy”. She is best known for her recurring role as Mercedes Gardner in “Wynonna Earp”, appearing in 18 episodes across seasons 2 to 4. Since 2017, Dani has been a main cast member on the acclaimed Canadian series “Workin’ Moms”, where she plays the character Anne Carlson. Her portrayal earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Comedy Series at the 7th Canadian Screen Awards in 2019, recognizing her talent and industry acclaim.

Dani often collaborates with the Hallmark Channel, further showcasing her versatility in family-friendly and romantic genres. She is represented by Play Management.
